PAL2 Laser Crosshair Lamp from the USA
 
PAL2 makes is so easy to hoop square. I just raise or lower the laser to align my outer hoop's horizontal and vertical centre markings with the illuminated crosshair. After sliding the fabric under the beam and inserting the inner hoop into the outer hoop, I know my fabric is square in the hoop.
