Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of goods by STAPLES4YOU.COM (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the customer (“Customer”). By placing an order, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
Definitions
The “Customer” refers to any individual, company, or organisation purchasing goods from STAPLES4YOU.COM.
The “Goods” refer to all items supplied by STAPLES4YOU.COM under a contract of sale.
All orders are accepted on the basis that the Customer has read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Prices
All prices quoted exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT will be charged at the applicable rate where required by law. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
STAPLES4YOU.COM shall not be bound by any quotation unless it is provided in writing. Written quotations remain valid for four weeks from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
If, between the date of order and the date of delivery, there is an increase in the cost of materials, labour, transport, overheads, or other production-related expenses beyond our control, STAPLES4YOU.COM reserves the right to adjust prices accordingly.
Variations in Quantity and Size
Minor variations in quantity or size of up to 5% shall be deemed acceptable and shall not entitle the Customer to reject the Goods or claim a refund.
Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of order unless a credit account has been approved in advance.
Where credit facilities have been agreed, payment must be made within 28 days from the date of invoice. STAPLES4YOU.COM reserves the right to withdraw or amend credit facilities at any time without prior notice.
Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at a rate of 2% per month on any sums outstanding after 28 days.
Delivery
Delivery dates and times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed and do not form part of the contract.
Delivery shall be deemed complete upon receipt of the Goods at the delivery address. The signature of any person accepting delivery at that address shall be treated as proof of delivery.
If the Customer refuses or fails to accept delivery, the Customer shall be responsible for any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to carriage, storage, and handling charges.
STAPLES4YOU.COM reserves the right to supply alternative goods of equivalent specification where necessary and to amend material specifications or formulations where required, provided that the overall performance and purpose of the Goods are not materially affected.
Loss, Damage, and Returns
Risk in the Goods passes to the Customer upon delivery.
Any claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect Goods must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the dispatch date. Claims received outside this period may not be accepted.
Returns are only accepted with prior written agreement from STAPLES4YOU.COM. Returned Goods must be unused, undamaged, and in a resaleable condition.
Bespoke, customised, or special-order items are non-returnable. Such items may be subject to a manufacturing tolerance of up to ±5%.
Where a return is approved, a restocking charge of up to 10% may apply. Goods are sold on a non-returnable basis unless accepted as faulty by the manufacturer.
Nothing in these Terms affects the Customer’s statutory rights where applicable.
Retention of Title
All Goods remain the property of STAPLES4YOU.COM until payment has been received in full.
If the Goods are incorporated into or combined with other products before payment is made, ownership of the resulting goods shall remain with STAPLES4YOU.COM until full payment has been received.
In the event of non-payment, STAPLES4YOU.COM reserves the right to require the return of the Goods. If necessary, we may enter the Customer’s premises at reasonable times to recover unpaid Goods, where legally permitted.
Warranty and Use of Goods
The Customer is responsible for determining whether the Goods are suitable for their intended purpose and application.
All technical information, recommendations, and descriptions provided by STAPLES4YOU.COM are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. No representation or warranty is given that the Goods are fit for any particular purpose unless expressly agreed in writing.
To the extent permitted by law, STAPLES4YOU.COM shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use or inability to use the Goods, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any contract between STAPLES4YOU.COM and the Customer, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law. The Customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
